Katha works closely with the director and the producer to assure that the dramatic settings contribute to the overall style of the film.  Whatever the period, and whether she works as production designer, art director, set decorator, buyer or in props, she extensively researches the look and feel of the subject and the period.  In the end, her goal is to create a space in which actors can fully embody the narrative and bring the script to life.
